Adventure Rally Raid Overview
GPS navigation through varied terrain, including desert, mountain, and off-road trails. Track shared before race start
Prologue based start classification
Categories
M6: Twin engines - 650 cc to 1300 cc - minimum weight 160kg
M5: Single cylinder - 650 cc and above - minimum weight 145kg
M4: (Above 450) Single cylinder - Maximum weight 125 kg
Modifications
All motorcycles should be built for long-distance endurance. Safety modifications (crashbars, racks) are allowed and encouraged
Exhaust: Must meet noise regulations (typically below 98 dB). Baffles and noise restrictors may be required
Navigation Equipment: Riders must have a GPS device
Fuel Range: Motorcycles should have the ability to cover at least 150 km without refueling
Tires: Off-road or rally tires are required
Lighting & Safety Gear: Functional front and rear lights are mandatory, and riders must wear full gear; helmets, safety body armour, motocross boots (adv boots will be rejected), and any additional protective gear of their choice
Rally Format & Navigation
3 days racing in various terrain (desert, dunes, gravel, mountain trails). Navigation by GPS tracks; Special Stages
GPS device: While phones are allowed we highly recommend using a dedicated GPS device
Penalties: Time penalties for missing waypoints or bypassing sections. Additional penalties for exceeding speed limits in controlled zones
Safety and Support
Tracking System: Each bike must carry a satellite tracking device provided by the organizer to ensure safety and monitor the race. Riders to carry mobile phones or radios
First-Aid Kit: Small personal first-aid kit, including a basic medical pack (bandages, pain relievers)
Mandatory stops at Water Stations
Tools: There will be no external mechanical assistance except at the bivouac. The rider is to carry tools for on the trail repairs
Assistance
No outside assistance allowed during stages except in the designated bivouac or assistance zones
Riders must be self-sufficient and handle mechanical breakdowns themselves, except for designated mechanic support after stages
State Regulations
Start Order: The Riders will start one at a time with start order determined by the prologue
Timing: Time for all sections, special stages and liaisons are tracked. Regularity mode.
Speed Limits: Speed limits apply in specific zones (bivouac, refueling areas and liaisons). Exceeding limits leads to time penalties or disqualification
Designated rest and refueling areas. Mechanical support allowed only in bivouac
Environment and conduct rules
Environmental Protection: Riders must respect the environment by sticking to marked routes, avoiding damage to wildlife or protected areas. Penalties for littering or environmental damage
Rider Conduct: Riders must respect local laws, event marshals, and other competitors. Aggressive behavior, unsafe overtakes, or endangering others will result in penalties or disqualification
Penalties and disqualifications
Missed Waypoints: Riders must pass through specific GPS waypoints. Missing a waypoint results in a time penalty
Outside Assistance: Receiving mechanical help during stages leads to time penalties or disqualification
Non-Compliance: Failing to adhere to bike specifications, safety equipment, or environmental rules will result in time penalties or disqualification
Scoring System
Stage Timing: The cumulative time of all special stages determines overall ranking.
Penalties: Added to the rider's total time

Category Podium: First, second, and third places for all categories
Overall Podium: 1 winner
Completion Award: Every finisher will receive a completion award
